The Accounts Receivable module attends to either standard accounts to which bills are charged or to special credit card accounts, which serve simply as a management account for reporting credit card activity. It is fully integrated with room accounting in LodgeWright. By fully integrated we mean that accounts receivable interacts directly with Front Desk and the room audit trail in accounting for charges and payments to accounts receivable. Guests on accounts will have their itemized bill posted to their account automatically after check out when the daily room check-out audit is closed. A list of current accounts is available on screen when the account number is selected, both in Front Desk and Reservations.
Accounts may be charged interest, and can be aged to accrue interest in cycles of no less than 29 days, based on a monthly aging date. Accounts may be aged in groups or one at the time
