Creating A Custom Adjusting Rate - Modify The Rack by a Percent
To create a custom rate that will override the rack rate with a rate which is a percentage of the rack go to Setup/Room Codes, Rates, and Deposits. Click on the menu item Rates/Custom Rates. Add a new rate with an amount which is less than one and set the Mode to Subtract From Rack Rate. To increase the rack by a percentage select the Add to Rack Rate mode.
